Afrikan People and European Holidays: A Mental Genocide
The holiday season with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Kwanza are just around the corner. The Sankofa Council of Milwaukee asked the question, What do these holidays mean for AfriKan people globally?
Our guest lecturer is Brother Shear Winston of Milwaukee who will share what he has learned from his research about the origins of these holidays and their significance historically for Black people.
