Live Broadcast from the 2022 National Medical Association Convention in Atlanta
We are broadcasting live on Saturday 07/30/22 from the opening of the 2022 National Medical Association (NMA) in Atlanta. This organization was formed in 1895 by black physicians.
It is the largest and oldest national organization representing African American physicians and their patients in the United States. Nearly every year since its founding, the NMA has held the Annual Convention & Scientific Assembly, which is regarded as the nation’s foremost forum on medical science and African American health. Attending this meeting are your black physicians from all over the country who treat mostly black patients. We will meet some of those leaders in healthcare.
Host Dr. Janine James is attending this meeting as a delegate representing her Milwaukee chapter of the NMA. Let your voice be heard about your health concerns and what you believe would improve the health of black people in America. Program will begin broadcasting at 6pm central time. One can listen by calling (215}490-9832.
