Malcolm X said “The media is the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent.” We as a community know how true that statement is. Controlling the narrative of our journey in this world is even more important today. I have tried to honor that tradition of telling our loves,  our loss, and our victories on “Black Men Screaming”. I utilized the Public Cable Access systems to broadcast our story and vision around the country.  It was a commitment en-charged to me by my parents who said ” Don’t get a degree and not come back to the community” .
I am asking you today to join me in expanding the show ” Black Men Screaming around the country. You can become a local sponsor of the show in the area you live as a playback producer. Being a playback producer would mean verifying your name and address and filing out the programming form online or in person at your local public access station.
